Vodafone Fiji 7s Manager Ropate Kauvesi says Semi Kunatani and Leone Nakarawa were not stopped from leaving Rio due to some misunderstanding.
With claims emerging that the two were under the influence of alcohol, Kauvesi says they were glad to stay for that long and get to experience the Olympics closing ceremony.
He admitted that it was sad missing the two celebrations in Nadi and Suva but he is glad that they returned home safely.
Kunatani was also hosted to a celebration party in Nadi yesterday.
Meanwhile Nakarawa says he will take a break before taking up his contract at Racing 92 in France.
President, Jioji Konrote will present medals to Semi Kunatani, Leone Nakarawa, Ropate Kauvesi, Jeremy Manning and Chris Cracknell this afternoon.
