Vodafone Fiji 7's vice captain Isake Katonibau is hoping that they will play series leaders South Africa in the cup quarter finals of the Glasgow 7's if they top their pool.
Fiji will have a chance of clinching the sevens series title if they knock out the Blitzboks in the first cup elimination.
Katonibau says they know what to do to counter the fast pace South Africa side.
South Africa is leading the series table with 129 points, Fiji is second with 125 points while New Zealand is in third place with 120 points.
They are pooled with New Zealand, Kenya and Samoa.
Fiji will face Wales at 11.42pm this Saturday. They take on Portugal at 2.48am on Sunday before taking on host Scotland at 6.21am.
The cup quarter finals will start at 10.28pm Sunday, the semi finals will be at 1.58am next Monday while the final will be held at 5.20am Monday.
