Former Vodafone Fiji 7s player Isake Katonibau is hoping to get back into the national sevens team after leading the Army Green 7s team into the final of the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s last weekend.
When asked by Fijivillage if he is looking at getting back into the national side, he says he has high hopes and hopes he is successful.
Meanwhile Tabadamu Blue playmaker Terio Tamani who received the New Find of the Tournament Award says his dream is to wear the white jersey one day and is hoping this will be the year.
A huge number of national 7s players played at the Marist 7s last weekend including Masivesi Dakuwaqa, Pio Tuwai, Jasa Veremalua, Alivereti Veitokani, Nemani Nagusa, Nacanieli Labalaba, Josua Vici, Paula Dranisinukula, Josua Kurinabuli, Sevuloni Mocenacagi and Lemeki Tulele.
The players will be camping again tomorrow to prepare for the Hong Kong 7s which will be held next Friday to Sunday.
Fiji is pooled with New Zealand, Wales and Japan at the Hong Kong 7s.
