An early frontrunner for catch of the season from Kane Williamson couldn't avert yet another Twenty20 defeat for his New Zealand side against Pakistan.
Williamson's diving left‑handed grab at mid‑on removed the dangerous Fakhar Zaman but Pakistan's mastery of the shortest format continued as they chased down the Black Caps' 153‑7 for a six‑wicket win in Dubai. They snuck home with two balls to spare.
It meant captain Sarfraz Ahmed's Pakistan completed a remarkable 11th straight T20 series victory at 2‑0 with one to play on Monday, while New Zealand's slump extended to eight defeats from their last nine.
