Jupiter wins Natabua Interhouse

A new winner has been crowned in the Natabua High School Interhouse at Churchill Park with Jupiter House coming out on top with 891 points after the two day competition.

In second place is Mars House with 789 points while in third place is Venus House with 758 points.

Pluto House finished last with 492 points.

The Best Female athlete of the competition was Coca-Cola Games Junior girls 800 metres champion Makereta Atelaite.

Atelaite who was with Lomaivuna High School last year has now joined Natabua High School.

She won three gold medals in the Junior Girls 800 metres, 1500 metres, 4 x 100 metres.

The Best Male athlete was Avikash Prasad who won gold in the Senior Boys 800 metres, 3000 metres and 1,500 metres.

Earlier, former Suva Grammar School sprinter, Malasebe Tuvusa of Mars House won the Senior Boys 100 metres final.

Tuvusa clocked a manual time of 10.84 seconds.

Lavenia Faranisese won the Senior Girls 100 metres final.

Natabua High School finished third in the Coca-Cola Games Boys division last year.

They won the Boys division in 2017.

The Coca-Cola Games will start on Tuesday 16th April and finish on Thursday 18th April this year.
