Joe Cokanasiga out of England squad to face Scotland

Fiji born Joe Cokanasiga is a shock omission from the England side to face Scotland the Six Nations Rugby Championship this weekend following his man‑of‑the‑match performance against Italy last week.

Cokanasiga is not even listed on the bench.

England coach Eddie Jones told RugbyPass they want to look after Cokanasiga as a young player.

Jones says that he wants the Fijian Flyer to play his 100 tests for England and at this stage of this career, there’s still certain things of his game that he needs to work on.

He adds that Cokanasiga will come back and he’ll be a very valuable player for England in the World Cup.

England will take on Scotland at 5am this Sunday.

Meanwhile, Italy will face France at 12.30am while Wales will take on Ireland at 2.45am Sunday.
