Natabua High School sprinter, James Cox is aiming to repeat last year’s performance in the 200m event during this year’s Coca Cola Games which starts this Friday.
Cox took out gold in the Sub Junior boys 200m event last year beating Marist athlete, Josefa Tabakaucoro.
The two will face off in the Junior Boys 200m event this weekend.
Cox ran a time of 24.95secs during the Lautoka Zone meet in the 200m while Tabakaucoro ran a time of 23.05secs during the Suva Zone 2 competition.
Another athlete who is gunning for victory in the Junior Boys 200m event is Lelean Memorial School sprinter Tevita Malasebe.
Malasebe ran a time of 23.99sec during the Triple N Zone.
The Coca Cola Games will be held this Friday and Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
