Ratu Kadavulevu School U18 are prepared to defend their title

“It’s time to empty the tanks.”

Those were the words of Ratu Kadavulevu School Vice Principal Walesi Soqoiwasa as they complete their preparation to defend the Powerade Super Deans Rugby Championship title tomorrow.

Soqoiwasa is calling on all RKS supporters to come out in numbers and support their grades that will be playing in the final tomorrow.

He adds that their Under 14,15,16 and 19 will be meeting the same schools that they met in the Eastern Zone final while their Under 18 are in for a surprise against Cuvu College.

Meanwhile, the RKS Under 17 were bundled out of the quarterfinals which will see Lelean Memorial School and Queen Victoria School battle for the Under 17 title.

In the Under 18, Soqoiwasa says he is confident with the depth of the squad. One of the players who was impressive for RKS was halfback Jone Vatuwaliwali.

The Under 18 final between RKS and Cuvu College will kick off at 4.40pm tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Viti FM 92.2FM.
