“It’s all about hard work and dedication.”
Those were the words of Fiji soccer striker Roy Krishna.
Krishna who made his debut for Fiji in the Pacific Games in 2007 is back in the country to play for the national side in their match against his club the Wellington Phoenix.
The 27-year-old from Siberia, Labasa has acknowledged his parents for the humble upbringing which has made him work hard towards his goal.
Roy Krishna has not said what he will do after his contract expires with Wellington Phoenix.
He adds that he still has one more season with the Wellington Phoniex and still needs to improve in many areas.
Fiji will play Wellington Phoenix at 5.30pm this Saturday at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Radio Sargam.
Meanwhile the Fiji Under 23 soccer team which is preparing for the Pacific Games will play the Wellington Phoenix Premiers at 2.30pm.
The Fiji Under 23 side will play Vanuatu at 4pm next Friday in its first pool match of the Pacific Games.
