It would be great to have Raka in the French 15s team - Vakatawa

Alivereti Raka has a chance of playing for the French national rugby team after he became a French Citizen on the 8th of December last year.

French winger, Virimi Vakatawa, spoke to Fijivillage says that if Raka becomes a French rugby rep, then he will be the third Fijian player from Naitasiri to play for France.

Noa Nakaitaci has also played for France.

Vakatawa adds this will make not only make their families proud, but also their province of Naitasiri.

Vakatawa who returns to France today where he will continue representing Racing 92 and he also hopes to get a shot to represent France in the Rugby World Cup this year.

Vakatawa has played 18 times for the French team while playing over 200 games for Racing Metro 92.
