Another Fijian powerhouse is set to make his debut for Western Force in the 2017 Super Rugby season.
21‑year‑old Isireli Naisarani has joined the Western Force squad after a standout season for Brisbane City in the Buildcorp National Rugby Championship last year.
Standing at 195cm and weighing in at 110kg, Naisarani was one of the finds of the 2016 NRC using his powerful ball running skills and strength in contact to score five tries.
The backrower also has high quality offloading ability.
He joins 24-year-old Semisi Masirewa who made an immediate impact in his first season with the Western Force, playing all 15 of the club’s matches in 2016 season including seven starts on the wing.
