Irish flanker Sean O'Brien says the British and Irish Lions coach Warren Gatland cost the side the series against the All Blacks.
O'Brien played in all three tests including the second test win in Wellington but has told website offtheball.com that Gatland over trained the team.
He says they probably should have won the tour and they probably should have won it comfortably enough.
He says there is a lot of learning to take from the tour in terms of the coaching setup as well and from a player's point of view in terms how they dealt with things.
The Irish forward said that he raised his concerns regarding the squad's preparation with coaching staff during the tour.
