The Crusaders may have found giant winger Nemani Nadolo’s replacement in the form of former Wallabies wing Digby Ioane.
Ioane played 35 tests for Australia, the last against the British and Irish Lions in 2013, and The Australian is reporting he has been lured to Christchurch by new Crusaders coach Scott Robertson for next season's Super Rugby competition.
The 31‑year‑old Wellington‑born wing earned 66 caps for the Queensland Reds between 2008‑2013, and scored a try in the Reds' 18‑13 win over the Crusaders in the 2011 Super Rugby final.
At his best, Ioane is a blockbusting outside back with pace to burn.
