Blues winger Rieko Ioane scored four tries as the Auckland‑based Super Rugby side beat Japan's Sunwolves 28‑20 for their first win of the season.
The Blues hadn't scored a try this season in the first half until Ioane touched down for his first in the 20th minute.
He had a double by halftime when the Blues led 15‑13.
Meanwhile in other matches, the Crusaders defeated the Chiefs 57-28, the Bulls beat the Sharks 37-14, the Waratahs defeated the Reds 28-17 while the Lions overpowered the Jaguares 47-39 and the Bulls beat the Sharks 37-14.
The Rebels won against the Brumbies 29‑26 on Friday night while the Hurricanes snatched a 25‑22 victory over the Highlanders.
The Crusaders remains a dominant force as they continue to lead in the overall Super Rugby tally with 17 points.
In second place is the Bulls with 13 points while Rebels is in 3rd with 12 points and in 4th is the Hurricanes while the Sharks is currently in 5th place.
