The intent is to get a clear idea of the boy’s contracts before the Wellington 7s.
Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Gareth Baber highlighted this speaking to Fijivillage when asked if the players have already received their contracts.
Baber says they have not yet received it as he is just trying to make sure that both the players and the Rugby Unions that contract them are both happy with what they are getting.
He says he just wants to make sure there is something for both parties involved.
However Baber says one thing he is working on with the team right now is the controlling of the ball for long periods of time.
Fiji is pooled with South Africa, Australia and Japan.
The Wellington 7s will be held from the 28th to the 29th of this month.
