Indian Cricket captain Virat Kohli has suggested the International Cricket Council to consider changing the format of the Cricket World Cup after India’s dramatic semi‑final exit.
This was after India crashed out of the World Cup after an 18 run defeat at the hands of New Zealand this morning.
Kohli suggested the tournament follow the model of the Indian Premier League, in which teams who finish top in the regular season get another chance to reach the final if they lose their first play-off match.
Meanwhile, in the second semifinal, England will play defending champions Australia at 9.30 tonight.
The final will be played at 9.30pm Sunday at Lords.
