Fiji Giants 10s coach Senirusi Seruvakula wants his players to display the Fijian flair that is seen in rugby sevens at the Brisbane Global Tens this weekend.
Knowing they will go up against the more structured Brumbies, Crusaders and Hurricanes team, Seruvakula is banking on his players to show what Fiji can do with their skills.
One player who is expecting this flair is Chiefs captain Liam Messam who believes they are expecting the Fiji Giants to create some upsets in their pool.
Seruvakula says they will not follow other teams style of play.
A total of 39 Fijian players will be playing in the Brisbane Global 10s including our very own Fiji Giants.
The Queensland Reds will have four Fijians including their captain Samu Kerevi, Moses Sorovi, Filipo Daugunu and Teti Tela.
Watisoni Votu will feature for French‑based Pau, Tevita Nabura will play for the Highlanders, Hoskins Sotutu for the Blues, Rob Valetini and Henry Speight for the Brumbies, Taqele Naiyaravoro for the Waratahs while Jone Macilai and Manasa Mataele will play for the Crusaders.
The Fiji Giants will take on the Brumbies at 7.09 tonight, they will then face the Hurricanes at 11.01 tonight before taking on the Crusaders at 5.04pm tomorrow.
The quarterfinals will be held at 7pm tomorrow, the semifinal is at 8.30pm while the final will be held at 10.15pm tomorrow.
