Former New Zealand 7s captain DJ Forbes says he always loves to watch the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team whenever he is not playing for New Zealand at the World Sevens Series.
Forbes is in the country with his family as a special guest and Ambassador of the Mana Whey Fiji Coral Coast 7s.
The 35 year old says that Fiji always brings a lot of creativity, offloads and expensive style of rugby which is entertaining to watch around the world.
Meanwhile Fiji 7s coach Gareth Baber says players have been working hard in the past two weeks ahead of the Sydney 7s.
Baber will be naming his final team to the Sydney 7's today.
Fiji is pooled with New Zealand, Samoa and Russia.
Fiji’s first game is against Samoa at 8.28pm next Friday, they will play Russia in their second game at 4.09pm next Saturday before taking on New Zealand at 7.42pm next Saturday.
The quarter finals will start at 12.28pm next Sunday, the semi finals are at 6.58pm while the final will kick off at 9.48pm.
