I enjoyed playing with some Tongan players in the Falcons team and not against them - Goneva

2018 Aviva Premiership Player of the Year and Fiji Airways Flying Fijians utility back Vereniki Goneva says he enjoyed playing with some Tongan players in the Falcons team and not against them.

Goneva will be going up against his Falcons team mate Sonatane Takulua who orchestrated his side's 28‑18 victory over Samoa.

He contributed 13 points with the boot, while his tactical kicking kept Samoa pinned in their own territory for much of the game and set up a second‑half try to replacement winger Penikolo Latu.

Goneva believes that Tonga will not back down easily after as they have some robust players include Viliame Lolohea, former NRL player Cooper Vuna, David Halaifonua, Nafi Tu’itavake, Siale Piutau, Kurt Morath and Highlanders captain Nasi Manu.

He will combine with Jale Vatubua on the centers while Nemani Nadolo and Timoci Nagusa will be out wide on the wings.
