Fiji Pearls Coach Kate Carpenter believes that her players can deliver a good performance against the Silver Ferns if they withstand the level of intensity the Ferns will bring into the match.

Speaking to Fijivillage, Carpenter said they have a nice blend of young and experience players in the side and the players have been reminded on what to expect from the number two ranked side in the world.

Carpenter added one of the highlights of the match will be the challenge provided by our experience players like captain Mere Neiliko Rabuka, Matila Waqanidrola, Vaiti Waqatabu, Maria Lutua and Taraima Rara who have already played against the Silver Ferns.

This players are expected to provide the much needed physicality in the team and they will face an uphill battle against the likes of Laura Langman, Catherine Latu, Jodi Brown, Maria Tutaia and Katrina Grant.

The Fiji Pearls will take on the Silver Ferns in the opening match of the Oceania Netball Tri Series at 6.40pm next Monday at the Vodafone Arena.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for children under 12
