The All Blacks are seeking a medical update on Vince Aso as they eye the Hurricanes midfielder as cover for the injured Ryan Crotty.
After Crotty was knocked out following a collision with teammate Jack Goodhue and with Sonny Bill Williams still out, All Blacks Coach, Steve Hansen said the All Blacks needed cover in midfield with only Goodhue, Anton Lienert‑Brown and Ngani Laumape left standing.
The All Blacks coach said a specialist had already given the midfielder, Ryan Crotty the all clear after he was knocked out in the opening Bledisloe Cup Test.
The All Blacks will host the Wallabies at 7.35pm Saturday at Eden Park.
