The British and Irish Lions ended their midweek schedule with a 31‑all draw with the Hurricanes at Westpac Stadium last night.
The Lions were leading 23-7 at half time with two tries to winger Tommy Seymour and a try to George North.
The Hurricanes did not give up as they fought their way back in the second half with tries to Callum Gibbins, Ngani Laumape, Wes Goosen and Vaea Fifita.
The Lions were scrambling to survive on their own try‑line and ultimately did due to a 'Canes offence before late drama saw Dan Biggar have a drop‑goal to win the game.
It fell short of the cross‑bar as the teams had to settle for a draw.
The British and Irish Lions will now take on the All Blacks at 7.35pm Saturday in their second test match.
