If the Hurricanes claim a victory against the Stormers tomorrow it will equal their best ever winning run since 2003.
In comparison, the Canes smashed the Rebels 36‑12 in Wellington last Friday despite resting a few key players, while the Stormers were crushed 39‑21 by the Highlanders in Dunedin.
Considering that Ma’a Nonu will play his 150th Super Rugby game, the Stormers will have a dig deep for motivation.
The Stormers 85% goal‑kicking success rate is the best in Super Rugby and this is something the Hurricane will have to monitor.
After Round 7 of Super Rugby, the Hurricanes lead the standings with 27 points, second are the Brumbies with 20 points while the Sharks are in third place with 19 points.
The Hurricanes will meet the Stormers at 6.35pm tommorow.
