Super Rugby defending champions, the Hurricanes have earned back to back victories over the Highlanders with a 41‑15 bonus point win at Westpac Stadium last night.
The Hurricanes outscored the Highlanders by seven tries to two in the match which opened up in the second half as there was only a two point difference at the break.
They are also the first side to break the 200 points scored barrier this season.
The Hurricanes do however remain in third place behind the Crusaders in the New Zealand Conference after three wins from four matches.
In other games played last night, the Brumbies beat the Waratahs 28-12, the Lions thrashed the Reds 44-14 while the Sharks edged the Kings 19-17.
Meanwhile, the Jaguares defeated the Cheetahs 41-14.
