Hurricanes coach Chris Boyd is welcoming his side's upcoming bye in the Super Rugby.
The Canes recorded an impressive 41‑15 win over the Highlanders last night.
But the sight of captain Dane Coles with an icepack strapped to his right knee, lock Michael Fatialofa sporting a limp and Matt Proctor sustaining a head knock late in the game meant coach, Chris Boyd felt it was a good time for a break.
Boyd says none of those injuries appeared serious, but having a week off will ensure they are properly rested.
Meanwhile, in other games played last night, the Brumbies beat the Waratahs 28-12, the Lions thrashed the Reds 44-14 while the Sharks edged the Kings 19-17.
The Jaguares beat the Cheetahs 41-14 this morning.
