Striker Setareki Hughes saved the day for Suva as he scored a last minute goal to make it 4‑all against Dreketi in the first match of the 2016 Inkk Mobile BOG at Ratu Cakobau Park.
Dreketi had a surprising 3‑1 lead at half‑time.
Hughes scored two goals for Suva while Samuela Drudru and Kelvin Anthony scored a goal each.
Dreketi’s Sanaila Waqanicakau scored three goals in the first half.
Ashneel Raju scored Dreketi’s fourth goal.
Dreketi Soccer Coach Johan Leewai says he has worked with the team on goal scoring which they were lacking this year.
Meanwhile, Ba defeated Nadroga 1-0 in the second match.
Maveliko Nakama scored for Ba in the 42nd minute.
