Hughes, Anare and Dickson nominated for Footballer of the Year Award

The top soccer players and team of the year will be announced at The Global Flight Centre Sponsored/ Fiji FA Awards Night which will be held at Yue Lei Hotel at 7pm in Suva tomorrow.

The Fiji Football Association has involved a team of independent judges to look into the nominations.

Fiji’s top soccer commentator from Radio Sargam, Dhanjay Deo was chosen to be one of the judges this year.

Vereti Dickson of Nadi, Ratu Anare of Labasa and Setareki Hughes of Suva are nominated for the Footballer of the Year Award.

For Team of the Year, the nominees are Nadi, Lautoka and Ba while for the Coach of the Year the nominees are Marika Rodu of Rewa, Roneel Lal of Labasa and Elvis Goundar of Tailevu/Naitasiri.

For the Junior Footballer of the Year, the nominees are Mataiasi Toma of Nadi, Misiwani Nairube of Ba and Anish Karan of Navua.
