Australian Men's Sevens captain Lewis Holland has forced his way back in the Australian 7's team for next weekend's Las Vegas 7s.
Holland did not feature in Hamilton after leading his side to their first World Series title in five years at the Sydney 7s.
The same goes for Jesse Parahi and the pair were missed in New Zealand, though the team fought hard to claim bronze in their absence.
Head coach Andy Friend says it’s fantastic to have Lewis and Jesse back in the squad as they bring such a wealth of experience to the group which provides that added confidence to the team.
He says they have had two great events back‑to‑back, but the reality of that is those results only heighten other teams awareness of them, as well as other teams desire to knock them off.
He says they have to make sure that does not happen.
Australis is pooled with Spain, Samoa and USA.
Meanwhile, Fiji will play Russia in their first pool match of the Las Vegas 7s at 12.06pm next Saturday and we take on France at 3.07pm next Saturday.
Fiji then play their final pool match against Kenya at 8.36am Sunday.
The Cup quarters start at 1.26pm next Sunday, the Cup semis will be held at 9.12am on Monday 5th March while the Cup final will kick off at 12.30pm Monday.
