Meanwhile Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder said they are looking forward to the challenge.
The ANZ Stadium is expected to have a record crowd tonight as tickets have been sold out.
Temporary stands have been constructed beside the grandstand to accommodate another 1,000 spectators.
The Chiefs will host the Crusaders at 7.35 tonight at the ANZ Stadium.
