Fiji Boxer Winston Hill has claimed Fiji's second bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games boxing competition after losing by points to Northern Ireland's Aidan Walsh in the semi‑final of the 69kg category.
Hill put up a good fight despite losing by points to Walsh.
Meanwhile, the Fijiana outclassed Wales 29‑7 to win their second pool match of the Women's Commonwealth Rugby Sevens.
The Fijiana led Wales 19‑0 at halftime, scoring a total of five tries.
Halfback Lavinia Tinai scored 3 tries for Fiji while other tries came from Viniana Riwai, and Ana Raimasi.
The Fijiana 7s team earlier lost to England 17‑5 in their first pool match.
The Fijiana will now face Australia in their final pool match at 9:21pm tomorrow.
The women's gold semifinals will kick off at 12:59pm tomorrow while the gold final will be played at 4:42pm tomorrow.
In the Commonwealth Mens 7's competition, Fiji will play Sri Lanka at 1.21pm today in the first game, we will then meet Uganda at 7.53pm today in our second pool match before facing Wales at 11.33pm in the last pool game.
There will be no quarterfinals as the top four teams will go straight to the semi‑finals at 1.43pm tomorrow and the Commonwealth 7s final will kick off at 5.04pm tomorrow.
