Highlanders coach Jamie Joseph believes his side has absorbed plenty from their win against the Brumbies in the quarter‑finals and are enjoying the chance to prepare for the Lions.
Joseph says the Lions have consistently been a good team beating the Chiefs on their first tour to New Zealand.
He says the Highlanders had a good game against the Lions when they beat them 34-15 but since then they have gone back to South Africa and have gone from strength to strength.
The Lions will host the Highlanders at 2.30am Sunday while the Hurricanes will play the Chiefs on Saturday at 7:35pm.
