Highlanders coach Aaron Mauger is fast running out of time to give All Blacks players in his team their two weeks off.
A deal between New Zealand Rugby and the five New Zealand Super Rugby franchises means the Highlanders' head coach must do so before the three‑test series against France in June.
Liam Squire, Ben Smith, Aaron Smith, Waisake Naholo, Luke Whitelock, Liam Coltman and Dillon Hunt attended the All Blacks training camp in Christchurch on Monday.
None outside of Squire has had a break.
But the much bigger concern at the moment for Mauger is tonight’s game against the Blues where is hoping no one else will get injured.
The Highlanders will take on the Blues at 7.35 tonight while the Waratahs will face the Lions at 9.45pm.
