Titans fullback Jarryd Hayne will start at centre for the NSW Blues at Game 1 of State of Origin next Wednesday.
Hayne’s comeback into the State of Origin is a boost to the Blues who hasn’t won the series since 2014.
After a two year absence while playing NFL and rugby sevens, Hayne who helped the Blues achieve a series victory in 2014, has been selected in the centres for New South Wales alongside St George Illawarra's Josh Dugan.
Dugan was named despite missing the past two NRL matches for St George Illawarra with a cheekbone fracture.
Daley made six changes ahead of next week’s clash including duo Nathan Peats and Jake Trbojevic who will make their State of Origin debut in the series opener next week.
Boyd Cordner was appointed the Blues captain, taking over from Origin retiree Paul Gallen.
Meanwhile in the NRL, the Rabbitohs will take on the Eels at 8.50pm this Friday.
