Former Vodafone Fiji Bati fullback Jarryd Hayne has achieved what most critics thought he would never do that is to secure a contract with an NFL team.
Visa complications prevented Hayne from signing with a club two weeks ago.
It is understood the former Kangaroos and New South Wales star would have most likely already been on a practice squad now.
Hayne has been forced to temporarily return home for Christmas, before he can officially sign a contract after December 29.
Hayne has refused to reveal his NFL club saying everyone will find out in the due course.
Meanwhile it has been reported that Detroit Lions is ‘closing in' on a deal with the 26‑year‑old and it is also understood that San Diego could be in the mix.
