Tottenham’s Striker Harry Kane has been set to captain Team England in the 2018 FIFA World cup.
This was announced by the team Manager Gareth Southgate.
24-year-old Kane scored 41 goals in all competitions last season as Tottenham finished third in the Premier League.
Southgate says Kane has some outstanding personal qualities.
Meanwhile the very excited Captain of the England Team says to lead the lads out, is going to be special.
England is pooled with Belgium, Panama and Tunisia for the 2018 FIFA World Cup which begins next month.
The team will take on Tunisia in their first pool match at 6am on the 19th of next month.
