Vodafone Fiji 7s captain Osea Kolinisau believes that the players will have to work harder if they are to stand a chance of maintaining their top four status and qualify for the Olympic Games in Rio.
Speaking to Fijivillage Kolinisau said they cannot rely on their previous performances as players should be ready to do the hard yards in training.
Kolinisau added that they will have to improve on their communication and their mental toughness on the field as this were some of the areas which cost them the game against Australia in Dubai and South Africa.
With some former players being recalled into the training squad, Kolinisau said the competition to get into the final 12 member team will get even harder.
Meanwhile, Coach Ben Ryan has maintained his stand that his selection will be based on form and players cannot rest on their laurels.
The Vodafone Fiji 7s team will march into camp again tomorrow to prepare for the New Zealand 7s which will be held on the 6th and 7th of next month.
