The State of Origin fate of injured stars Latrell Mitchell, Reagan Campbell‑Gillard and Dylan Napa was mixed following an incident‑packed match between the Sydney Roosters and Penrith Panthers at Allianz Stadium last night.
Campbell‑Gillard received the results of scans today which confirmed the Panthers prop had suffered a broken jaw.
Blues centre Mitchell ‑ who was taken from the field on a stretcher with a neck injury in the second half ‑ appears set to take his place in the Blues side next Sunday night.
Queensland Maroon’s Dylan Napa has a suspected high ankle sprain, to his left leg.
The State of Origin game 2 between the New South Wales Blues and Queensland Maroons will be at 10pm next Sunday.
Meanwhile in NRL matches last night, the Roosters thrashed the Panthers 32-6, while the Warriors defeated the Cowboys 23-16.
Tonight, the Bulldogs will play the Titans at 5pm, the Dragons will face the Sea Eagles at 7.30pm while the Sharks will take on the Broncos at 9.35pm.
