From Rugby League to Union - Seci to feature for First Light Taveuni

Vodafone Fiji Bati forward Pio Seci will be featuring for the First Light Taveuni 7s team in this weekend’s Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.

Seci has been called in to replace Eroni Vucago who is away to play rugby in Malaysia alongside Noa Bola.

Team Manager Qiolele Moresio says they are trying to assemble their best team which include Nadi players Tomasi Ralulu and Mesake Varo, national rep Lemeki Tulele, Anare Tevita, Alekesio Vakarorogo and Leone Lomaloma who scored two tries in the Coral Coast 7s final.

Taveuni is pooled with Nasonini Babaas, Navudrau Vikings and Marist 1 in Pool 16.

The Fiji Bitter Marist 7s will be held this Friday and Saturday at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the selected commentaries of the quarter finals, semi finals and final on our sister station Viti FM.

Meanwhile the Hong Kong 7s will be held from the 7th to the 9th of next month.
