Blues playmaker Piers Francis has been deemed to have recovered sufficiently from being knocked unconscious in Cape Town last week and will take his place at first five‑eighth against the Chiefs on Friday.
Francis, who has been called up to the England squad that tours Argentina in June, was knocked out after copping a swinging arm from Stormers second‑five Shaun Treeby last Saturday morning.
Treeby has been suspended for three weeks.
The Blues will host the Chiefs at 7.35pm Friday.
