The depth in the Vodafone Fiji 7s team will see the five French based players work harder to earn a spot in the team.
The team that went to the Singapore 7s last month had seven playmakers including Kitione Taliga, Emosi Mulevoro, Osea Kolinisau, Jerry Tuwai, Amenoni Nasilasila, Alivereti Veitokani and Vatemo Ravouvou.
The only forwards in the team were Masivesi Dakuwaqa, Jasa Veremalua, Apisai Domolailai and Nemani Nagusa.
Coach Ben Ryan also came up with a game plan that took them to the final.
Ryan says players such as Pio Tuwai, Isake Katonibau and Viliame Mata will bring back the strength that was needed in the forwards.
Kenya outmuscled Fiji in the Singapore 7s final to clinch their historic first ever cup win.
With Leone Nakarawa, Josua Tuisova, Semi Kunatani, Samisoni Viriviri and Waisea Nayacalevu to join the team in camp this weekend, Ryan now has a lot of strength in the forwards and also speed outwide.
