Joe Ravouvou is set to don the black jersey for the first time since his blockbusting World Cup campaign last July, having gained New Zealand citizenship to make him eligible for the World Series.
The former student of Lelean Memorial School has been picked in the All Blacks 7's team for the Hamilton and Sydney 7's.
Other players that have links to Fiji and are part of the New Zealand side include Vilimoni Koroi, Jona Nareki, Amanaki Nicole.
Other big names in the team include Tim Mikkelson, Kurt Baker, Dylan Collier, Scott Curry, Sam Dickson, Andrew Knewstubb and Regan Ware.
Coach Clark Laidlaw says the team has come into the New Year refreshed and there has been an edge at training as they build towards the Hamilton event.
Laidlaw says with only the one home tournament a year, the All Blacks Sevens want to make an impression on their fans.
New Zealand has been pooled with Spain, Canada and Wales for the Hamilton 7's.
