The Marist Brothers High School under-18 rugby side will go into the Southern Zone final tomorrow without their head coach Eroni Vereivalu.
Vereivalu passed away at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital yesterday.
Vereivalu was appointed as coach for the Fiji under-18 and under-20 team for the Junior Rugby World Cup in 2009.
His last appointment with FRU was as assistant coach for the Telecom Fiji Warriors in this year’s Pacific Rugby Cup.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Rugby Union has also sent their condolences to the late Vereivalu and his family.
In a statement released by Acting CEO Dr Berlin Kafoa, said that Vereivalu will be deeply missed as he was heavily involved in Secondary Schools Rugby around the country.
Vereivalu was also the former coach of the Assemblies of God High School under-18 side and guided them to their first ever Deans semifinals.
