The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s players have been urged to maintain their focus on the game when under pressure.
In the past two tournaments in Dubai and Cape Town, the national sevens side has been losing to South Africa in the quarter and semifinal and coach, Gareth Baber believes they have matched them physically but not in speed.
He adds that players know the importance of fighting right to the end.
Baber will continue to search for talents around the country and will be watching the Skipper Provincial 10s tournament on Saturday and the Mana Whey Fiji Coral Coast 7s next week.
Fiji is pooled with New Zealand, Samoa and Russia for the Sydney 7s which will be held from the 26th to the 28th of this month.
