Semi Radradra has not been named for the Flying Fijians contest against Tonga due to a compulsory stand down period in order to rejuvenate and prepare for the Rugby World Cup 7s next month.
This decision was made in a joint agreement between Fiji Airways Flying Fijians Coach John McKee, Fiji Men’s 7’s Coach Gareth Baber and the management of Radradra’s new club Bordeaux.
McKee says the decision to manage Radradra’s load will ensure the blistering back will be available to perform at both Club and Country level for the heavy 2018/19 programmes.
Replacing Radradra in the backline this week will be Timoci Nagusa.
Jale Vatubua and Vereniki Goneva will combine in the centres alongside Montpellier team mates Nemani Nadolo and Timoci Nagusa promising some exciting strike power on the wings.
Young Savusavu scrum half Frank Lomani has been given the start for the final Test against the Ikale Tahi following an impressive series off the bench.
The fullback is Kini Murimurivalu.
Campese Ma’afu, Tuapati Taleimatoga and Manasa Saulo will lead the forward charge for Fiji against a big Tongan pack who are sure to bring a tough contest to the Fijians.
The two locks are Viliame Mata and Leone Nakarawa while Dominiko Waqaniburotu and Mosese Voka are the flankers.
Captain Akapusi Qera is listed to start at number 8.
The Fiji Airways Flying Fijians will play Tonga at 3pm Saturday at Churchill Park and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Viti FM.
