Vodafone Flying Fijians coach John McKee believes they need to improve in the second half if they want to defend the Pacific Nations Cup title.
Today’s PNC final will see Pacific Island pride rise once again when Samoa and Fiji come face to face for the second time.
McKee says they know how crucial this game is and are looking forward to meeting Samoa.
The two sides played out a thrilling 30-all draw in round two with Samoa denying Fiji victory with a penalty by Patrick Fa’apale, and both reached the final with unbeaten records.
Meanwhile, Samoa will go into today’s title decider as the higher ranked of the two Island nations on 76.15 points at ninth place, with Fiji just 0.13 of a point behind in 10th place.
The match between the Vodafone Flying Fijians and Samoa will be held at 12pm today.
