First Light Taveuni has the potential to reach far beyond expectations - Veitogavi

Despite losing seven players from last year, Mana Whey Fiji Coral Coast 7's defending champion, First Light Taveuni has proved that the young side has the potential to reach far beyond expectation.

First Light Taveuni defeated Sigatoka River Safari Henibua 14-12, they then defeated Police 12-7 and overcame Shangri-La’s Daveta 19-7 in the pool matches.

Team’s Manager, Sakiasi Veitogavi says that their pool matches were tough.

Veitogavi also confirms that Lemeki Tulele has recovered from yesterday’s injury.

The Defending champions will take on Ravuka Sharks at 11.20am today in the first Cup quarterfinal.

In other Cup quarterfinals, Cross of Victory will face Ratu Filise, Wardens will take on McDonalds Saunaka and Police will face Shipping Services Suva Stallions in the last cup quarterfinal.
