It’s finals day in the athletics competition at the Pacific Mini Games today.
The 100 metres finals will be held at 4 this afternoon. Fiji will be represented by Aaron Powell, Kolinio Radrudru and Makereta Naulu in the 100 metres final today.
Winston Hill will also take part in the boxing competition today.
The Fiji Women’s soccer team will also play Vanuatu in the Gold Medal match on Thursday.
The team beat Solomon Islands 2-0 yesterday and qualified for the final.
Meanwhile, the Men’s soccer team will play Tonga today at 2pm.
The team has five points after 3 matches.
Fiji had beaten Tuvalu in their first match while they drew their games against Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.
Fiji will play New Caledonia in their final match on Friday.
Looking at the Pacific Mini Games Medal tally, New Caledonia is leading with 28 gold, 11 silver and 7 bronze. Fiji is second with 16 gold, 12 silver and 14 bronze while in third place is PNG with 15 gold, 11 silver and 8 bronze.
