Fiji’s Men’s and Women’s 4 x 100 meters relay team scooped gold medals at the Pacific Mini Games yesterday.
Aaron Powell steered the relay team to finish first after he was disqualified in the 100 metres Men’s final.
The relay team included Isireli Bulivorovoro, Tony Lemeki, Aaron Powell and Kolinio Radrudru.
Fiji’s 4x100 metres Women’s team also finished first.
The relay team included Elenoa Sailosi, Makereta Naulu, Miriama Senokonoko and Serenia Ragatu.
Meanwhile, Miriama Senokonoko also won gold in the Women’s 400 meters.
She clocked a time of 57.99 seconds.
Looking at the Pacific Mini Games Medal tally, New Caledonia is leading with 41 gold, 14 silver and 9 bronze, PNG is in second place with 26 gold, 20 silver and 18 bronze while Fiji is in third place with 19 gold, 16 silver and 18 bronze.
