Fijian players including Crusaders block busting wing Nemani Nadolo, Reds second five-eight Samu Kerevi and Highlanders wings Waisake Naholo and Patrick Osborne have been ranked in the top ten best tackle‑busters in the Super Rugby competition.
Naholo is Super Rugby's leading try‑scorer with nine tries and has also beaten 43 defenders while Osborne has beaten 36 tacklers.
Crusaders wing Nadolo was at his damaging best last Friday night against the Hurricanes as he bumped off tacklers.
In total, he has avoided 36 defenders this year and that number is expected to grow in the final two weeks of the season.
The Reds have had a campaign to forget but centre Samu Kerevi has beaten 35 defenders.
From this list, 4 of the 15 top try-scorers are Fijians with Naholo on the top with 9 tries, Taqele Naiyaravoro at third place with 7 tries, Nadolo has 6 tries while Kerevi also has 6 tries.
Meanwhile, in the clash this Friday, the Hurricanes will play the Highlanders at 7.35pm.
