Fijiana to play 7 matches for Oceania qualifier

The Telecom Fijiana 7s team will have to play seven round robin matches in the Pacific Games to qualify for the Oceania qualifier.

Manager, Betty Blakelock says the team has two weeks of training and are aiming to win all their games.

Blakelock says they need to keep up with their fitness as they will meet Australia in one of their matches.

She says that their goal is to join the men’s team in the Rio Olympics next year.

The Telecom Fijiana team is expected to leave for PNG on the 7th of next month and return on the 14th.

The Pacific Games will be held next Saturday till the 18th of next month in PNG
